倫和梅花鹿 and the Taiwan Tornado

February 24, 2010

Here’s a mission update for you. We have reached the half way point on our Quest for Stardom and getting our very own TV-show in America. And when I say America I of course mean anywhere in the world.

I would love to see Lunki and Sika on German TV Channel Das Erste right after Mütter, Väter, Kinder, the Emmy Award winning German drama series. Or why not having a spot on Singapore Channel 8 right after 台湾龙卷风 Taiwan Tornado, the intriguing drama series about the bitter conflict between the two wives of a tycoon? We just need to change our show’s name to Lunki und Sika and 倫和梅花鹿.

Actually Lunki didn’t translate to traditional Chinese, so I had to shorten his name to Lun to get it to work. It is however apparent that they know and appreciate me over there since Google translate had no problem translating Sika into 梅花鹿!

Okay, back to the update. Today we have a meeting with a Swedish talent agent who might takes us on as clients. It’s exciting and we will keep you posted.

現在再見! Eh, I mean bye for now.

Hahaha…this is hilarious, you actually checked the program schedule of Singapore Channel 8??

Tell you a secret, I think you are definitely better than 台湾龙卷风 (I never wanted to watch that). Why dun you aim to take over that slot?? Hahaha….

此时暂别了! [“Now be temporarity apart” – the nearest to “bye for now”, which no one really uses in Mandarin….再見 is good enough 😉 ]

Thanks for the language lesson, much appreciated!

And thanks for saying we are better than 台湾龙卷风, I had a hunch we were but didn’t want to broadcast it just yet for fear of hurting their feelings. We are ready to take over that slot anytime!
