Coming Soon: Sideboob in Physible 3D?

February 21, 2012

The Pirate Bay aka The galaxy’s most resilient bittorrent site  has launched a new content category called Physibles. Physibles are data files that you can print using a 3D printer. At the moment there are only 35 files in this category but I believe in the long run this will be a game changer!

This is my prediction of how the 3D printer will change our lives in the future.

2013 The first LEGO castle is downloaded and printed. It looks spectacular.

2015 IKEA releases a “build your own 3D printer”-kit for $149.99.

2016 IKEA stops selling their “build your own 3D printer”-kit because everybody is printing their new 3D printer on their 3D printer.

2019 Physibles are now the biggest category on The Pirate Bay.

2025 Nike sues a 15 year old guy from Holland for sharing 6 000 000 shoes worldwide.

2028 IKEA files for bankruptcy since everyone is printing their own furniture.

2030 The fax machine makes a big comeback. With the 3D fax you can send stuff anywhere anytime. For example your car keys that you left at a friend’s place.

2045 Airport security becomes obsolete since everyone has 3D printers on their phones and can print their weapon of choice when they’ve passed the x-rays.

2050 McDonald’s starts to sell take-away 3D printers and solves world hunger. Obesity is now global and the number one cause of death (well, still..).the animated comedy series and blog lunki and sika

Wow, the future sure is exiting! Since I told him about this, Sika can’t stop talking about the possibility of printing his dream girl. Well, we’ll see about that, but I guess if he starts saving now, he might afford that IKEA build it yourself kit when it’s introduced.

What you would like to be able to print? Any suggestions?the animated comedy series and blog lunki and sika

Some brilliant points there. Perhaps this is one of those game-changer inventions
