I’m a sucker for comedy documentaries because it’s funny because it’s true. Here we follow Nick Broomfield trying to make a documentary about Margret Thatcher but there is just one minor obstacle in the way… she doesn’t wanna be in it.

So what to do? Well, Nick decides that stalking her is the way to go.

In the movie we see him desperately try to get close to the former prime minister by bribing her staff to get her schedule, telling a cab driver to Follow that limo! and interview weird people who, for instance; saved the toilet seat from Thatcher’s childhood home and keeps it on display at their own home now.

And since this really IS a rare movie I couldn’t find a clip from the movie so instead I’ll give you a clip from where he can’t get an interview with Heidi Fleiss, from the movie Heidi Fleiss: Hollywood Madam.

That’s almost like Margret Thatcher, right?

PREVIOUS ON THE LIST: 41. Fat City (1972)
