Review: What ever happened with Christopher Lambert? Seriously. I don’t think I’ve heard or read about him since that Mortal Kombat movie he did.
Perhaps he died? Which would be kind of ironic since he in this movie plays an immortal. Well, unless someone cuts off his head with a big sword. That apparently does the trick even if you are an immortal. So I guess basically he’s not an immortal…

Connor MacLeod: There can be only one!
But it is an awesome movie nonetheless!! I do however get the story of Highlander confused with the not-as-good sequels but in this one he fights, tries to stay alive AND stands on a mountain/hill with Sean Connery.
And all of that to a Queen soundtrack!!
Nerdiest Movie Trivia:
Mickey Rourke was considered for the role of Connor MacLeod.

The Lambert is alive and… not kicking. But he got “will be rediscovered by Tarantino” written all over him. He is fat and look like he had a total makeover done by Nick Nolte – and that is probably why he was so awesome in Claire Denis’ White Material! It probably helped that he didn’t have to speak English too…
Dirty confession: I’ve never seen this movie. But I just scheduled it to record on my DVR, so I should be seeing it within a month or so.
It’s still a great film even though some (most) of the things I once thought was cool (Lambert) in it is now ridiculous… but in a great way. Recently re-watched it and was overwhelmed with how entertained I was!
