81. Hell Comes to Frogtown [DVD]
This title is way too literal but I guess it clearly tells you if you will like the movie or not. The plot is: a guy named Sam Hell goes to Frogtown (and it’s not a town with French garlic breaths but actual frogs).
It’s a cheaper Big Trouble in Little China, The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai Across the 8th Dimension or some other strangely named 80′s action movie that takes pride in being retarded. It’s Roddy “out of bubblegum” Piper playing a dude named Sam Hell for fucks sake!
But wait, there are some more surprises in the plot (like the awesome reason why Hell comes to Frogtown) but it would be telling too much because you already know 80% about the “plot”.
Don’t expect a great movie or a “so bad that it’s good”-movie… It lacks some timing to pull either off but it kept my eyebrows raised throughout the entire running time.
