Always the Bridesmaid

Okay, maybe France didn’t humiliate Sweden in their 29-26 win in the 2011 Handball World Championship Semi Finals, but I thought it was apparent they didn’t go full speed either. Like a chameleon they adapted to the situation and did just enough to get the job done. As they later also did when they beat Denmark in the Finals.
Sweden later lost against Spain in the Bronze match and ended fourth. All in all a surprisingly good result, especially when no one expected them to go that far.
Over the weekend,we here at Lunki and Sika also lost the match for the gold when we became runner up in the 2010 Transatlantic Diablog Award. Sigh, always the bridesmaid, never the bride.
