I Love You Phillip Morris
The funniest part of new Jim Carrey movie I Love You Phillip Morris, where the actor portrays a gay conman, wasn’t even in the movie.
I attended a screening of it last night and I really liked it. It was kind of a dark drama/comedy with the emphasis on drama. But however dark it was, the viewing had a lot of funny moments and the funniest one of them took part outside of the screen.
In front of me sat four kids, I’m guessing around twelve years old, and watching their reactions to what they thought would be “Jim Carrey’s new funny, crazy, slap-stick comedy” was priceless. There were a lot of looking at each other, awkwardly repositioning themselves in their seats and constantly laughing at the wrong moments. It was like watching two shows at once. Awesome!
As I said; i really liked the movie, but I loved the screening.

Jim Carrey gives one of the nerviest, boldest performances of his sporadically brilliant career. With an even better film, that can actually keep up with him. Nice review, check out mine when you can!
