Dancing with Sika
Seems that getting an agent was a smart thing for us to do. She came by today and presented a binder filled with tons of ideas and stuff she wants us to pursue.
And what was written on the very first page? Get Sika a record deal.
I have to complement her good taste and sense of priority. Since we need funding while waiting for a Television Network to make a deal with us, I think it’s perfect to make some money off my talents. And it seemed so easy for her to make it happen. Three steps she said, the way to success comes in three steps.
- The idea/product. In this case we are talking about one of my original songs, Rädd för Tjejer. In english it translates to Scared of Girls.
- Send the idea/product to the right people. In this case we put a CD with the song in an envelope and sent it to Bert Karlsson, Sweden’s most legendary record mogul.
- Repeat. While waiting for an answer go back to step one and start all over with a new idea/product.
Next week our agent will let us in on more of the ideas she has for us. Perhaps she plans to exploit all of my talents. Singing, acting, and I’m quite a good dancer too.
Do I see a spot on Dancing with the Stars in the future!!??

I am happy for your success. Meeting the agent is the dream of each artist I think. It is good to know what to do, yet there are always a need to choose – i can either to create, or to try to sell my works. The agent is just obligatory to any artistic activity, because it is impossible to create and bother withartmarket at the same time.
